Bidston covers more ground than people expect. There is the older village and the roads up towards Bidston Hill, then newer estate housing lower down, and the two make for quite different moving days: one narrow and green, the other wide and straightforward.
Up near the hill the roads are narrower with more mature planting close to the kerb, so we check where a large van can actually turn and sit. On the estates below there is usually a driveway and a short path, which keeps things quick.
