Curzon Park is one of Chester's grander addresses: substantial Victorian and Edwardian villas on generous plots, many with the original layouts intact. High ceilings, wide landings and heavy period furniture make for a bigger job than the room count suggests.
Access is usually better than the city-centre streets, with drives and space to work, but the approach roads are narrow in places and racecourse event days can change the traffic completely. We check both when planning rather than assuming a normal run in.
