Leasowe is mostly post-war estate housing with wide roads and a fair amount of off-street parking, which makes it one of the easier parts of the Wirral to bring a large van into. We can usually get close to the door, and that keeps both the day and the price sensible.
The exception is the coastal edge by the embankment, where the wind comes straight off the Irish Sea. On an exposed loading day that slows things down, and anything large and flat gets handled with two pairs of hands rather than one.
It is close to our base, so Leasowe is somewhere we can often be flexible on timing. The work is a steady mix of family house moves, clearances and probate jobs, all handled by our own uniformed crew rather than subcontractors.
