Upton is one of the more straightforward parts of the Wirral to move in. Much of the housing is 1930s semi-detached and post-war family homes, most with a driveway or a decent kerb, which means we can usually get the van close to the door and load without a long carry.
The village centre and the roads around Arrowe Park are busier, and the streets near the hospital can fill up during the day. Where that is a factor we will plan the timing rather than fight it, because an early start on a quiet road is worth more than any shortcut on the day.
Upton sits centrally on the peninsula, so we are often moving people between here and the rest of the Wirral: out to Greasby and West Kirby, or across to Birkenhead. Being a family area, we do a good share of full house moves alongside clearances and the occasional probate job.
