Meols sits on the north coast between Hoylake and Moreton: bungalows, family homes and seafront roads where the wind and the parking both matter.

Meols is largely bungalows and comfortable family housing, with the older properties nearer the shore and newer estates set back from it. Plenty of homes here have driveways, which helps, and the roads are generally wider than the Hoylake streets just along the coast.
The coast does affect the day. Loading a van on an exposed seafront road in a strong wind is slower and needs more care with anything that catches the air, and we would rather take the extra ten minutes than have something go over. Parking near the front can also fill up in good weather.
There is a strong downsizing element to our work here, bungalows and long-held family homes often mean sorting decades of belongings before anything is loaded. We pack at the pace that suits and can store whatever is not ready to be decided on.
