Pulford is an estate village south-west of Chester: characterful properties, quiet lanes and moves with space to work properly.

Pulford is a small village on the Chester side of the border, with distinctive estate-built properties, cottages and newer housing around them. The older buildings are the ones to plan for: solid, characterful and not built with modern furniture dimensions in mind.
Access is generally better than the tighter lanes further out, with room to bring a van in on most of the village roads, though the approaches are rural and narrow in places. We check both ends before the day rather than assuming.
It sits close to the Wrexham road, so moves in either direction are straightforward for us. The village has plenty of long-settled residents, which means downsizing and probate clearances come up regularly alongside family moves.
