Formby is substantial detached housing, much of it set back on generous, wooded plots with long private driveways. These are large moves: four and five bedrooms, garages and outbuildings, and often decades of belongings rather than a few years' worth.
The drives are the thing to check. Long, curving and sometimes soft-surfaced approaches do not always suit a fully loaded Luton van, and a gate that looks generous can be tighter than it appears. We look at the approach before quoting rather than discovering it on the day.
